Sleep, smoke, game. I like it overall, its very peaceful, not stressful or draining. Then, I work. I toil until the plant has had its day. That is what I have determined thus far.
It cost me $5 to get this USA guest user, about 7.5% of the traffic since I implemented it. I'd say that's rock solid, but I still am tempted to do India ads for growth. $5 per guest is likely unsustainable for me
Now that I am big man on campus, with my 1 user, I can pull big weight with the big shots. I can pull strings and make things happen now. I feel like Donald Trump. I am Donald Trump.
My "Use as Guest" feature got someone in! Without conversion ads. Which is pretty cool because these are people who might represent the ordinary population better.
I'm gonna try the conversion ads again, which are the only ones that have had good performance on Facebook for me in terms of getting conversions. My concern is that this arficializes the audience somehow. But maybe not. I also want to test the India ads again.
It's optimistic to take the CTR as genuine interest in the product. The ad is a video of the product. But you totally could. Then decipher the best path forward, assuming the traffic is good, but something else must be wrong.
I'm getting a good CTR on the ads, but no one is signing up. Plenty go to the sign up page, but no one follows through. I am doubtful that adding info to that page is the sole requirement. Maybe best to add some kind of anonymous or guest feature but that is also questionable
truthfully, i know full-well that people should be persuaded enough by the value prop. and i'll need to beef up the content in order to send people straight in. so it's still a matter for debate
i think i'm going to give people automatic accounts, so they can browse and interact, adding an email and password later on. it will create a lot of "artificial" users but that's okay, active users are what matter anyway
others would say... add more sign in options. remove sign in requirement entirely, even consider anonymous participation. there's many routes to take. add more info to the sign in page, or embed that form on the landing page. any of them could be the move that works.
My visitors are not signing up. I could do conversion ads, or Google ads, for higher intent people. But they have their own problems. It might be worth a try.
