I saw a tweet comparing Donald Trump to senile Mermaid Man. I cannot stop thinking about it... So I guess that makes JD Vance Barnacle Boy...? Wow, this is bleak.

> return flight to nyc gets canceled by snowstorm > call united > immediately connected with customer service (rare) > voice is uncanny, def AI but they gave it a human-like accent > takes ~20 min to get rebooked (pretty good imo) > I ask if it's AI > "haha no ma'am but I get that a lot" > I ask it to calculate 228*6647 > it runs the calculation > ggs

Imagine working for a company forcing me to use Teams...
If I join a call and it's Microsoft Teams, I'm immediately bearish on the entire organization

Even if it's not your fault, often it is your responsibility to deal with and how you respond. My clearest example: Someone rear-ends you. It's not your fault it happened, but it's your responsibility to call insurance, to take your car to the repair shop, etc.

Four lessons I learned as a CTO, the hard way: 1. Code can't fix a bad product. Validate your offer before you write a single line. Traffic and tech mean nothing if the solution is wrong. 2. Gut feeling is not a strategy. Build systems to test assumptions. Make decisions with data, not feelings. 3. Delegate to elevate. Document your processes so you can hand them off. Your job is strategy, not firefighting. 4. Focus on profit, not vanity metrics. Traffic, stars on GitHub, tech stack.. none of it matters if the business isn't sound.

Two cliches that seem to be often on my mind right now… (1) money can’t buy taste… (2) think of how dumb the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that… It’s really anyone’s guess why these would be on my mind so much.

I randomly saw V for Vendetta was on my flight the other night and decided to rewatch it… (I almost never rewatch movies) It is a more timely than ever movie in 2025…i would highly recommend rewatching it.

getting over your situationship should kinda feel like getting rejected at berghain, a little confusing but over so quickly and never to be seen again until you try again in desperation the next weekend

If the world is going to end…at least I got to experience the unbelievable joy of a fuck ass mullet, a mustache, and slutty patchwork tattoos.
it must feel so good as a man to have a fuck ass mullet & mustache with slutty patchwork tattoos
