PSA: When you message me here on Twitter, you're not actually referring to Amazon Echo. I'm not nearly that useful.

What if the real $1.8B is the friends we made along the way? Congrats to all my @StackOverflow friends, wishing we were all together tonight to celebrate and reminisce.

TIL: People working together can build truly amazing and incredible things, and the way we work together to get things done matters as much as what we’re building. Big huge congrats today to Stack fam!!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

I don’t know who’s on the market for a doggo in the tri-state area, but little Prancer over here shouldn’t be passed up 🐾
This is the best thing I’ve read in awhile.

Work up feeling so sad and helpless, grateful that @jiatolentino shared the link to the GoFundMe for Vilma Kari, the 65-year old Filipina woman horribly attacked in Manhattan. Just one way to show support, if you have the means🌹 gofund.me/3fc14f5d

Once upon a New York City, I'd frequent cocktail bars alone and sip negronis on a Sunday. Even if I was alone, I never felt lonely. You can hear why on this website: imissmybar.com/

A year ago today my mom and I threw a surprise 60th birthday party for my dad. Friends and family from all over the country flew in. There were hugs! Lots of them! I wish I knew then that it’d be more than a year before gathering and group hugging again.

We still have work to do, but this perspective is important.
Great piece from @NickKristof. nyti.ms/2MBGkBL β€œWhen I was born in 1959, a majority of the world’s population had always been illiterate and lived in extreme poverty. By the time I die, illiteracy and extreme poverty may be almost eliminated.”
