Accessibility in email is hard enough. When email clients block even the most basic accessibility features, they’re not limiting creativity; they’re limiting access.

"The report outlines a set of 20 HTML, CSS, and ARIA features they look for and found that only one email client of the 44 evaluated supports all of the features. Apple Mail and Samsung Email are apparently close behind, but the other 41? Not so much" css-tricks.com/html-email-ac…

Has anyone seen HDR emojis on Slack yet? Basically they stay at 100% eye-searing brightness and sometimes dims the rest of the screen to appear even brighter ☠️ Being my anxious self, I worry about Accessibility when someone decides they want their logos in HDR to "make it pop"

Also to note that it only works in Chrome (the top 2 browsers are Firefox & Safari)

Here are the images I used to test -- HDR super-bright eyes (just opening this on Chrome and viewing it on a Macbook screen, you can see how extremely bright it is) drive.google.com/file/d/1hHj… Normal eyes (apologies for the blurriness) drive.google.com/file/d/1mci…
