Rang 111 last night for something relating to my eldest daughter, for the call handler to tell me that a medical practitioner will be calling me within the next 2-3 hours. I stayed in the living room until 3am waiting “sleeping” poorly and checking my phone all the time.

Eventually went to bed in the big bed with my daughter to keep an eye. And guess what? My GP rang this morning at 9am!
I waited around for nothing 😩
Now we are a house full of disturbed sleep zombies.

All I want is some peace and quiet in the evening but for the past week my eldest keeps waking up. First it was 10:30 and now it’s closer to 9:15. I have no idea what’s causing it

Has anyone ever experienced a subscription app suddenly changing your plan? I had a great yoga app that I had paid yearly for, which suddenly changed to 3 months plan for the same price. I’m livid. It’s crazy

Made the top 20 applicants out of over 400 for a job I really really wanted, but they are only interviewing the top 5. Hopefully something comes my way in 2025, because I need something.

It was my daughter’s first school nativity today. We decided to miss the 10am performance and go to the 2pm one instead. Sadly, I got a call at 11:30 to go and pick her up as she was so ill. So we didn’t get to see her performance at all 😞

Spent all evening crafting a cover letter for a PT job and I’ve never struggled so much to get to the minimum required 500 words before. Writing cover letters are a job in themselves

I’ve picked up another cough after a week of suspected laryngitis and I honestly think I’ve had a cough on and off since July.

Had a great dinner last night at Toklas in London. Such a nice vibe in there and yummy food. Got to see some Christmas lights too on the walk back to the tube.

My almost 13 month old decided to stand on her own earlier this evening and it was the most wonderful moment. She was so bloody proud of herself 🥹

Highly recommend doing a crafts based kids party. We had 6 tables each with a different craft on. Faces making, beading, painting wooden decorations, geli bath, play dough and duplo on the floor. Kids dove in to whatever they wanted to do with their grown ups. It was fantastic!

Did Trick or Treating with my eldest and her cousins tonight. We’ve never done it before and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Was such a great vibe in the community.
