Honestly I got turned off Stargate SO HARD when Wyvern Games, the publisher of the RPG decided to screw me and a bunch of other writers out of our royalties. That really soured me to the franchise as a whole, so frankly I'm glad it's dead now.

Opened my window in the UK and police came round and installed this.
Was told its illegal to open windows and got a £200 fine. This country is a joke

There is no UK law making it illegal to open a window, and police do not issue fines for doing so. I backed Star Realms: Rise of Empire at the $59 Legacy Tier. I never actually received my reward, and the company’s response was genuinely appalling.

Star Realms is a good game. That’s the frustrating part.
But good games do not excuse terrible fulfilment practices, poor professionalism, and treating backers like inconveniences once the money has cleared.

I’ve now formally reported the project to Kickstarter as unfulfilled.
If you’re considering backing Wise Wizard Games in future, I strongly recommend researching their recent history first before giving them your money.

Our intro to anime was that Akira was released here in 1991. We then had Crying Freeman in 1993, Devilman, Fist of the North Star and Genocyber in 1994, Ninja Scroll in 1995, Mad Bull 34 and Violence Jack in 1996.
We never say it's for kids.

In fact, the reality is that we didn't get kids anime until later. Pokemon didn't come out until 1999, Sailor Moon in 2000, Cardcaptor Sakura in 2001.
This meant that for almost 10 years, people thought of anime as violent gore cartoons. Some still do, because THAT was our into.

So the leak of the new film has made the Avatar trend all over my Facebook and, my god, you really can tell this was a fandom which grew during the heights of Twitter and Tumblr because so many of these folks are un-fucking-hinged.
