BREAKING: Cal State, the largest 4-year public university system in the country, is making drastic cuts to their Spring '21 scheduling. Jobs will be lost, adjuncts laid off, and numerous classes will not be offered unless they are required by their departments. More to come.

I know this the right call and I'm grateful to know so early, but that doesn't make me any less sad. I look forward to the day when it's safe to be back in the classroom with my students.
The CSU announced today that all 23 campuses will continue with predominantly virtual instruction for academic terms beginning in January 2021. Campuses will remain open and ready to serve students. calstate.edu/csu-system/news…
