Amid all, I've seen Lebanese solidarity in action. Communities supporting communities. Govt is leading the response, heroic @WFP & partner teams have delivered hot meals & cash to 300k people. But these achievements are fragile. Donors must step up to sustain response & cohesion.

L’entretien a porté sur l’intervention d'urgence de cette institution onusienne en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC), notamment dans l'Est du pays où il fourni une assistance alimentaire et nutritionnelle vitale à des millions de personnes affectées par la violence, les déplacements et la faim.
Mme McCain a fait part au Chef de l’Etat des difficultés et défis que ses équipes rencontrent sur le terrain et des perspectives pour poursuivre dans les meilleures conditions leurs différentes interventions.

Thousands continue to flee #Sudan's El Fasher. WFP is on the ground and scaling up immediate food assistance.
But many more are still trapped in the besieged city.
WFP is sending digital cash so families can buy food where available, and has trucks ready with food for those most in need.
Thousands are at risk of starvation. We need urgent access now.
