I been saying this about AI. As someone who is directly affected, I know it well. AI will only become better and more used. I will lose my job and many people will watch AI over real people not even knowing it. Even full AI YouTube channels (some which already exist). But I'm talking like a recurring "main character" and everything. AI needs some sort of safeguard to keep it from sucking the soul out of life.

I remember when I worked at Stater Bros. markets in California 15 years ago I was making $8.75 an hour. I almost got fired for refusing to help some overweight lady who was being rude to my coworker who paid for a basket full of junk food using EBT (very common) and then used WIC checks to the fullest extent (at least this has to be healthy foods). She had the newest iPhone. I could barely afford my flip phone and pay rent at my apartment working 40 hours a week. She smacked her 2 year old upside the head in the little top seat thing and I lost my cool. I looked at her, shook my head, told her she can bag her own groceries, and walked away. She complained to corporate, they watched the tapes and I didn't get in any trouble. But it always stuck with me how backwards the situation seemed. I've worked full time since I was 16 years old. Have never not worked as an adult. It's insane that there are people who make more than I did for years of work for simply being lazy and having kids they can't afford to take care of. When we had my first son, I worked extra hours and started a business to ensure we were going to be okay. This needs to change.

It's officially been over 1 year since I last streamed. I miss it. AND I don't miss it. What I do now is mentally easier and healthier for me. Also more stable. However I miss the fulfillment I got from streaming. I really felt like I was making people's days/lives better which was a major driver for me to stream the way that I did. I think I had some of the most chaotic streams on Twitch. I really miss my community (they still shit on me almost daily in discord) but that's not the same as being live every day. Streaming is very difficult, I respect all the homies still at it and miss y'all!

ChatGPT is sick. I've started using it as a business assistant. I sent it pics of my earnings from day 1 and it tracks it for me! When I send screenshots it tells me my overall daily earnings. It made me this graph. Very cool to see the income rise as I've improved 🙏

I had to ban someone who gifted almost 700 subs in my channel. They were caught cheating in Warzone (back when I was a Verdansk main) and I played with them and just thought they were insanely good It hurt to do because it was an income for me, but I felt it was the right call and it was messed up for him to put me in a position that could have hurt the very beginning of my full time streaming "career" Respect to anyone who makes the decisions that are harder to make

Going on record and saying my 69 (70) day subathon was live 24/7. Slept on stream every night with ping pong ball shooters and a leaf blower aimed at my head. I've seen so many other streamers do a "long" "subathon" and thought this same thing. Even if stream is still live but it's on a YT vid or streaming someone else overnight, that is not a subathon.
