Closeted tennis player Dana was a fan favourite, especially her turbulent relationship with Alice.
Her death from breast cancer - and Alice arriving too late to say goodbye - was one of the saddest things I've seen.
Dana's death clearly pained the writers as much as the fans; they've always listed it as one of their top regrets.
