I’ve played about 46 hrs of Dragons dogma 2, and this tweet is how I found out there are micro transactions. You have to go out of your way to even know they exist. With that said, it still shouldn’t be in the game.

As someone who absolutely loves Dragon's Dogma 1, DD2 seems like a 10/10 sequel so far. It's crazy that this gem is being review bombed. I don't like microtransactions, but these are just early boosts of stuff available in-game, like RE VII and DMC 5 had. It's all online drama.

Couple of Dragon’s Dogma 2 facts that need clarification for the debates/arguments. You can customize your character anytime at the barber of the main town for gold or completely remake it using a consumable book. The dlc gives you one of these books you can also buy this book for 500 Rift Crystals from a vendor. Rift crystals are quite easy to earn, you loot them from enemies and containers in the world. You also earn them from people using your pawn. Their main use is renting pawns higher level than you. Pawns your current level are always free. Fast travel is in the game in two ways: carts and port crystals. Carts take you from town to town for a small amount of gold. Port crystals require consumable ferrystones to instantly port to their location. There are static crystals in the world and multiple ones you can drop anywhere to create your own teleport spots. Both the consumable and crystals are in the game naturally. The dlc lets you have one extra port crystal.

Twitter Bullshit: You have to pay to change your character's appearance in Dragon's Dogma 2 Reality: The first city you visit, 30-60 minutes if you rush, you can buy the item for next to nothing.
