When I met @rachelalamont out in Fiji in the summer of 2023, it was a tough and emotional time. The cast of Season 46 was official, and she was heading back home as an alternate. I still interviewed her, and I had a great time getting to know someone who had a great passion, as well as a head, for the game. Talking with her before and after her first trip to Fiji, I knew it was a matter of when, not if she'd come back. And when she hit that sand again, everybody better watch out. I am so elated that, nearly a year later, I got to talk to her again for #Survivor47. She told me, deep down, she knew this was her time. And it absolutely was.
