Sad to hear of the passing of Cliff Fletcher. He was one of the greatest leaders I ever played for. Lead Calgary’s one and only Stanley Cup winner with integrity and class. Amazing guy to talk to and was always honest in those discussions. You will be missed.

Sad to hear the passing of one of my biggest supporters. Cliff drafted me in 1981 and showed tremendous patience with a young player who still had a lot to learn.
I was thrilled to see him achieve his professional goal of winning the Stanley Cup with the @NHLFlames in 1989.
My heartfelt condolences to Cliffs family , friends and everyone whose lives he touched. RIP 🙏
Longtime NHL executive and member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in the builder category, Cliff Fletcher, passed away today at the age of 90.
