With the recent injuries, the Guardians have to make a trade for a big-time bat now more than ever. If they don't, the White Sox will take the division. When you have the longest World Series drought, you should be going all in every year, especially since Jose gave you a deal.

Unfortunately because of the injuries they are way less likely to make a trade. The team rarely does the “all-in” move, and when they do it’s only when they are at full power to put them over the top.
It’s never to salvage.
We’ll see where these guys are come Trade Deadline.
