Today marks ten years since Jo was killed.
We remember Jo as a mother, sister, daughter, wife, friend, campaigner and public servant. We remember her courage, her compassion, and her belief that we have more in common than that which divides us.

I have never understood how putting women’s sports on different channels / socials / everything is supposed to be better than just … giving it adequate time and space on all the main channels and outlets? What am I missing?
The first sign of a stroke might not seem like much, like not being able to raise your arm. Or struggling to smile. Or slurring when you speak. Any sign of a stroke is always an emergency.
Face or arm or speech, at the first sign, it's time to call 999.
Last night's arson attack on a mosque in Peacehaven is another example of the division and hate that is becoming all too commonplace in our society.
We send our solidarity at this time to the Muslim community both in East Sussex and across the UK.

Our thoughts are with all of those injured in this morning's attack outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.
Hate and division have no place in our society. We should all recognise - as Jo did - that we have more in common than that which divides us.
I’m appalled by the attack at a synagogue in Crumpsall.
The fact that this has taken place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, makes it all the more horrific.
My thoughts are with the loved ones of all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services and all the first responders.
