Analysts Fear 2027 Could Be The Toughest Year Yet For #Farm#Margins — Shrinking equity, rising nitrogen costs and continued global upheaval signal a reckoning for corn growers and a shift to soybeans.

Farmers: I cannot overstate how tight UAN supplies in N.A. are. I realize that in years past, even when supplies are tight, retailers have made product appear.
This year, do not be mad if your retailer says you will have to wait for supply if you haven't purchased already.
Corn and Soybean Early Planting Date Maps
#plant25 is quickly approaching!
Planting before these early plant dates voids the replant benefits for crop insurance unless producers have a private product replant policy in place. The crop will still have all other insurance coverage.

THANK YOU!
To my beautiful wife for making it possible to do this.
To President Donald J. Trump, for giving me such an opportunity to serve our country at this level.
And to the American people, for their trust. I will never stop fighting for ALL of you.
I have room to background 200-300 hd of calves. Cost of feed plus yardage. Good feed available. Nice big pens. Send me a message or email me at baruthag@santel.net.
50 degrees in February, officially think we are screwed this year! We either have a few huge blizzards coming late or it’s going to be 100 degrees all summer long. #sdweather
Fun to be in an industry where we can share info like this! Protecting your operation shouldn’t be hard, just partner with people who are as passionate as you are! @BenRand10 and @sorensen_kyle thanks for representing #LRP so well. Pleasure to be in the insurance world with you!
Kyle is my competition down the road. And he's spot on here.
The highest the CME Feeder Index has ever been is $254.09. Oct LRP is $274. Board is $273.95.
Protection here, in whatever form you like, is absolutely prudent.
Not sure how to take this yet, but every single LRP feeder calf coverage level June forward is well over the current index. Wildest is month of Nov. Check these out on 900# steers in Nov. Index currently is $230.68.
Either cash feeders are going to be exceptionally expensive summer into fall or fat cattle need to go on a rip because $268 feeders and an $.85 COG with a $176 fat bid doesn't work.
Another year of calves sorted and we are still married! @bauerfarms605 was actually nice this year, haha! See you critters at Sioux Falls Regional tomorrow. #calfcrop23
