🚨 The New Jersey Drone Mysteries: What I Think 🤔🛸
If you've been as mystified and frustrated as everyone else about those mysterious drones everyone’s spotting in New Jersey (and now several other places), I'll share the initial thoughts I had...that I now feel are spot on after several weeks of following it and doing some research.
Spoiler alert: While these sightings might seem like a page out of a sci-fi thriller, I don't think there is any need to break out the tinfoil hats! 🪖✨
Here are the 4 points I think tell the real story:
1️⃣ The sightings started near Picatinny Arsenal, a well-known hub for advanced military tech. It's also not the first year that these have happened around there. Coincidence? Probably not.
2️⃣ Right when the sightings spiked, the FAA issued airspace restrictions in that area—suggesting planned, authorized activity from Nov 21 through Dec 26.
3️⃣ On TV and in the news, officials have reassured us that:
🚫 Not foreign drones.
🚫 Not rogue operators.
🚫 Not "directly" U.S. military… but they never ruled out private contractors.
It was that last statement so carefully worded that really rung in my ears, so....
4️⃣ A look at DoD contracts shows a $50M agreement with a robotics company to develop advanced drones for mapping, tracking, and maybe even counter-WMD missions. 🛠️ Sounds like something that would need a real-world test flight, right?
Why This Makes Sense
The DoD can use legal tools like the "secure tech list" to keep cutting-edge projects classified; from us, the news, and even from other officials asking questions. This means they can’t (or won’t) admit involvement—even if contractors are flying these drones for testing. They can simply say "It's not us", and they are kinda saying the truth. 🛡️
FYI, it’s also happened before such as in the Colorado drones from 2019. They turned out to be Air Force exercises. 🚀 Sounds like history is repeating itself to me.
The Bottom Line for Me:
No aliens, no spy plots, no Skynet uprising (yet). 🐕🦺
I believe these drones are likely part of DoD-supervised testing by private contractors, fine-tuning tools that (I hope) are designed to keep us safer in the long run. 🌍🛡️
I wish they would just say that, but I don't always get what I wish for.
So, to me, this mystery is most likely more science than fiction. And hey, maybe we're getting a sneak peek at the future of tech! 🔭✨
What do ya think? Am I crazy? On to something? Way off? Too calm or too nerdy? All of the above?!?! 😁
