With only 2 months to go we're delighted to announce the next speaker for ASMA 2025, a Post-retirement Fellow at CSIRO Environment. Prior to her retirement, she led the CSIRO High-resolution Climate, Ocean and Extremes group of the Climate Intelligence Program.

In 2017 she became a Fellow of the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society and in 2020 she was awarded the CSIRO Medal for Lifetime Achievement.

Emma is an internationally recognised expert on Indigenous methodologies, especially as applied to land and sea management. She has written books, papers and reports on Indigenous rights, governance and regional development.
