Recently, editors and authors who published an article in Music Therapy Perspectives (MTP) engaged in a collaborative process of examining our assumptions, biases, and processes.
This study highlighted the benefits of choral singing:
Resilience - Statistically significant increase in resilience at week 8.
Less Anxiety; Positive Growth - Not statistically significant, but still important.

Who Participated? Six women who identified as cancer survivors attended 90-minute virtual choir rehearsals.
Data Collected: Researchers followed them over 8 weeks.
What Did They Measure? The singers completed self-report measures about resilience, anxiety, and other benefits.
