Shameful that @UNHCRAsia is lending its legitimacy to this deeply illegitimate and brutal regime - and for what ends? Does @Refugees really think that doing a deal with the SAC will buy them increased humanitarian access? Or is it all about courting donors?
UNHCR is now the 5th UN agency to meet publicly with the Myanmar junta as reported in the Global New Light - see below. These are tough operational decisions, but this is likely to lead to yet further backlash from civil society in Myanmar. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
