Today is my birthday and also 14 yrs since brain surgery, 33 rounds of radiation plus 4 cycles of high-dose alkylating chemotherapy. It hasn't been easy, but I don't regret the person I've become as a result of what I went through. So deeply grateful. Sending love & light to all!

Congratulations to the incredible Lauren Harrell and team on this amazing achievement! Lauren is literally saving the whales!!
We distinguished complex whale vocalizations using a model trained on birds.
We leveraged Google DeepMind's Perch 2.0 bioacoustics foundation model's transfer learning capabilities for classifying complex whale vocalizations to accelerate marine insights.

Together with @GoogleOrg and @YouTube, we're contributing $15 million to orgs providing immediate relief in LA. When it’s safe to reopen our offices in LA, we plan to offer YouTube facilities to impacted creators and artists as they begin to recover and rebuild their businesses.
