You are absolutely right, @DJWhooKid - @icecube and @JeffKwatinetz had a vision, they have pursued and they continue to pursue that vision with tremendous passion and relentless effort and @thebig3 season 9 starts next week - beyond imagination, indeed.
ICE CUBE IS A GENIUS! šŸšŸ”„šŸ€ Ice Cube is making history once again. Cube has expanded Hip-Hop beyond imagination, first with music, than with cinema and now with sports. You have touched my heart, @PapaMeach - I am honored and touched and I thank you from my heart.
COMMENTARY: Papa Meach Updated... "Light The Torch" As a long, long, faithful and avid NFL Raiders fan, I am experiencing a sea change within the organization. I sincerely feel the Autumn Wind is blowing a different direction and the old ways are dissolving into new creativity, insights, inspirations and new ways of doing business. As things are changing on the football field I pray that the Raiders organization live up to their life long slogan "Once a Raider Always A Raider". I am thinking about one such person who was the first woman CEO of an NFL team Raiders, Amy Trask. Now Al Davis AFL Commissioner, NFL Owner, Head Coach etc was and is today considered a genius in evaluating football talent and people. Amy was not only hired by the Raiders for her legal expertise but soon became Al Davis top person he relied upon. She became his trusted second opinion and right hand person in the organization. Her work day would start early in the mornings and if needed extend into the early evening. On many nights Al would call her home at midnight to go over the day or discuss a pending pressing matter. Sounds like a "Commitment To A Long Day". Certainly Amy's plate was overflowing with a smorgasbord of football management and responsibilities and Amy was always ready to take on each task. Can any of you imagine having your office across the hall from Al Davis and being under his microscope and direction? That was Amy and she served him with honesty, vigor, and loyalty. If warranted she would go toe to toe if she had to knowing he would give her a honest listen and sometimes he would relent and agree and sometimes he wouldn't. Regardless, he would make the final decision and that was that. She worked with him up to his passing in 2011 and for the team about a year and a half after his passing. Amy was an Executive with the Raiders for almost 30 years. With the changing of the Autumn Wind and a new direction and spirit brewing within the organization, I as a long time huge Raiders fan today and forever, ask Executive Management very respectfully, Do you stand behind the Raider mantra: "Once A Raider Always A Raider"? Does this slogan have a "but", or "maybe" or is it iron clad? Because, for me the question of the hour is with this new regime and change of doing things, Will Amy Trask be invited to Allegiant Stadium to in person honor the man she served and admired and still does, light The Al Davis Memorial Torch? For fans seeking context about Amy's contribution to this organization I urge you to get her book on Amazon, "You Negotiate Like A Girl" read it and determine your own thoughts about her time with the Raiders and listen to her voice yourself as she was our guest months ago and candidly describes her times with the Raiders and Al Davis. Please Listen: iqxv9gk8t4q4g.podbean.com/e/… Then you ask yourself, "Should Amy be lighting the Al Davis Memorial Torch.? In Allegiant Stadium many honorable people and organizations have lit the Al Davis Torch. Some are: Dr Miriam Adelson Philanthropist, Steve Wynn Casino Owner, Carolyn G Goodman Mayor of LV, Steve Hill LV Convention & Visitors Authority, 1960 Raiderettes. Nothing wrong with those choices at all. But, the service and loyalty to the Raiders and especially Al Davis is off the charts when it comes to Amy Trask. What would Mr. Davis want? I am proud of the moves Mark has made moving the team to LV and giving it a rich sustained financial solvency. He and his dad always wanted to win and this new regime gives us hope that the team is on a new direction, a new way of doing things. Let't continue that spirit of hard work, integrity, appreciation, and gratitude for all who have loved and today love this organization. Let the healing begin and honor the cherished code shared by no other NFL team: "Once A Raider Always A Raider"!

As relates to the Brendan Sorsby matter, bear in mind that courts can and do deny requests for permanent injunctions, even if a temporary injunction has been granted - in other words, it ain’t over and we don’t know how it will end.

I love when they come in to visit - there were two of them, they’re a couple, I think they were on a date - someone else (that would be my husband) doesn’t love it when they come in to visit (okay, he doesn’t even like it), you should see the expression on his face as I giggle.

A big part of his success was that he was color blind literally and figuratively. First black hired HC. Did not discriminate against women holding high positions in the organization. Amy Trask first women NFL CEO. Her office was right across the hall from his and he relied on her day and night to help run the Raiders. After an early morning and into the evening it was a tradition on many evenings he would call her to go over the day at midnight. Amy was instrumental regarding running the organization and keeping it financially on the straight and narrow. Yes, Al Davis had a genius football mind however his secret sauce was hiring the right people like Amy to keep him upright and protecting the organization. Hear her Raider and Al stories on our interview with her a few months ago. Go to Raider Legacy Lounge on one of the main podcast providers and go down our episode list until you find the one featuring Amy Trask, Enjoy!

Thank you @PapaMeach - thank you for your beautiful note and thank you for inviting me to join you and @R8r66 on your Raider Legacy Lounge podcast - thank you again. iqxv9gk8t4q4g.podbean.com/e/…
In those owners meetings back in the day and being the only women in the room representing the Raiders, you had a tall task winning the owners respect that you belonged there. It may have not been right but thats the way it was (And unfortunately is today for many women in various industries and just life). Amy you earned their respect and the smart ones their admiration. Lets get a new NFL commissioner. How about a women this time. Anyone open to the trask? I mean task? I had many special interactions with @Patriots Robert Kraft and @dallascowboys Jerry Jones during my years in the @NFL - Robert did something extraordinarily kind for me, Jerry said something tremendously kind to me - so, I'm sitting with them, and we'd talk and we'd laugh.
Where are you sitting on this flight?
