I’m proud of the stablecoin business we are building at @Anchorage Digital and the comment letter we submitted in response to the OFAC and FinCEN proposed joint rulemaking for the GENIUS Act. The letter is full of thoughtful insights and suggestions concerning AML/ CFT and sanctions compliance for stablecoin issuers. Our comments take into account our experience as America's federally regulated crypto bank and the first US federally regulated stablecoin issuer. Currently we have issued five GENIUS-ready stablecoins (USAT, USDGO, USDPT, fUSD, and USDtb) and plan to issue more later this year!

After 12 years in Citi's FX business, Anchorage Digital's AJ Macey wants crypto settlement to borrow what already works in traditional markets:
"I don't think we're trying to say we need to burn the house down and rebuild it."
"The big FX gold star standard is CLS, for example. That's how all major currency pairs settle. We're trying to take pieces of best practices in the market, build them into our product, and really upgrade that infrastructure through the use of blockchain."
"We're trying to reduce time to settlement. We're trying to make settlements safer."
