Not a bad start with gorgeous visuals both in filming locations and creature depictions, though the editing and narration are by far the weakest aspects... it's all so American. That being said it's great to get a documentary that isn't just focussed on the Late Cretaceous.

Spoilers below:
I think the Permian segments didn't fully explore the cataclysm of the Great Dying in enough detail, though it was really nice to see species not previously seen in other shows. The Early Triassic segment was easily the highlight for me with all the new species.

1997 Isla Sorna is easily my favourite island and my favourite portrayal of this island. A tropical island with large redwoods and dinosaurs, it's like an ecological anomaly. It just has an eerie, almost haunting presence that the other films doesn't have imo
