I will say this: There are 8 Wards in DC. Some people haven't been to them in a long time. Some people have never stepped foot EOTR, or in neighborhoods where they don't believe people will vote at all. I hear it all the time when I'm walking the city.

People always THANK ME for popping up or walking through their neighborhood because they feel like no one cares about them, their issues or concerns.

I wish @PerryStein would have interviewed me before or after the @dc_ecc Education reform. It took about 200 words to mention me. The article was simply based on "The Mayoral Hopeful" and "long-shot candidate" which distorts what really occurred

-Get rid of PARCC & find new assessment
-The word IMPACT has a negative connotation to it. Ditch the evaluation system, and the new one should have a much more positive name and metrics
-Don't attach standardized test to teacher evaluations
-Add more culturally responsive metrics

-I spoke about the Mayor using 2.5 million in COVID-19 relief funding to hire more parking enforcement officers, yet schools don't have COVID coordinators.
-Finally, we HAVE all the DATA. Mayor Bowser chooses not to use it appropriately or listen to it when making DCPS decisions
