Unbelievably, none of my âpondering through the beamsâ made it into this weeks Homes Under the Hammer final broadcast despite some breathtaking footage being created at the time. In fact no pondering at all. Just opinion on values. Sad times đ #whynopondering
A cheeky little conservatory #ponder last week in #basildon. We tried a ceiling tap but the producer didnât like it. So just an old fashioned, classic âlook around then walk out of shotâ. Itâs nice to go back to basics sometimes.

Great fun at the @phoenixpropertymeet.co.uk annual fundraiser this week. Live charity auction rooms allow me to ad lib and bully/gently encourage the audience way more than a regular property auction! The booze helps too (both me and the bidders!) #charity#auctioneer
JKâs Fanbite of Chelseaâs humiliating thumping by the Toffees of Everton. Canât deal with being bullied canât score any more. Itâs a backwards & sideways w*nkfest. Have the wheels fallen off? Is Rosenior Potter in disguise? @Jonathankydd@chelseafanbite#chelseafc@chelseafc
This weekâs episode of #homesunderthehammer featured a lovely âis it a garage, is it a lean-to, no one really knowsâ ponder. You have to watch to the very last scene but hopefully all the #pondering appreciators amongst you will feel itâs a journey worth going on.
My first #ponder of 2026. And I wanted to start with a bang. I chucked in a âcupboard door testâ as well as one of the smoothest âumbrella-closageâ manoeuvres youâre likely to see this year.

As an auctioneer, December is always a crazily busy month with both property and charity auctions but this was the first time I had to conduct 4 auctions in 30 hours. Three property auctions and a fundraiser over two consecutive days was a new record for me! #auctioneer#records
2 parties (one a total surprise), an epic champions league night, a surprise dinner in the dark, a weekend at The Grove, a 4 day boys trip in Madrid and lots of other fun events. Itâs been a monumental 2 week celebration for turning 50. I think I can safely say Iâve milked it!
How does he constantly innovate his pondering? Allow me to indulge you with a little behind the scenes snippet showing John the Cameraman inventing the âdoorway ponderâ. Pondering really is a team effort. None of it happens by pure magic, people.
Some unbelievable creativity today from producer Di who spotted a mirror and insisted it couldnât go to waste. Bringing props into a #pondering sequence is why sheâs at the top of her game. Letâs hope they leave this in the final broadcast. #HomesUnderTheHammer#ponderingskills
So this weekâs Homes Under the Hammer was a real showcase in just how much the BBC editors are starting to value my #exterior#pondering. They left in not one but TWO separate garden ponders. As well as some front-of-house and in-bedroom contemplative-mastery.
Sporting vibes at the end of last week. Boxing on Thursday at #rumblewiththeagents which included me jumping into the ring âŚto conduct the auction and raise money for Centrepoint âŚ. followed by Ascot on Friday. #Ascot really is a great day out, I have to say.

#Charity#auctions are even more fun when you recognise the people bidding. As happened at the @Norwood Property Lunch on Friday. You nearly won it @daniel_daggers! Lunch with @Nigel_Farage (the final auction prize) will be very memorable, Iâm sure! Heâs a great speaker
