Congrats on this great publication, Andrew. Really interesting data on the potential benefit of ambulatory cardiac monitoring for ED patients with unexplained syncope. @TeamVenk @mattreed73

This is the best write-up I've seen so far on how to frame (the good and the bad) the unmatched spots in EM. @jbcarmody thesheriffofsodium.com/2022/…

Hi, ER Doc here. RT if you’ve ever done CPR on someone and they survived. Trying to prove something.

Time to play “Stump the chump” with our wonderful APD @AndrewMooreMD. Our intern Dr. Lee attempts to stump faculty for this months pulmonary themed case conference.

Not surprised at all. Thank you to @AEM_ETOnline for publishing this important data.
Excited to share our research on for-profit involvement in EM GME. We found a large rise in the number for-profit affiliated EM programs over the past 5 years. In addition, for-profit affiliated EM programs paid residents almost $4000 LESS than non-profit affiliated programs!
Love working on articles like this with our @VTCEMResidency residents. Dr. Engberg did a heck of a job.
Hard to see Roanoke City on this map, but we fall into the 12-49 female EM physicians per 100,000 population. Our group at carilion clinic is ~ 60% female.

Re my earlier post. Shameful.
I am proud of our residents today for advocating not only for themselves but all of our frontline workers in the hospital including our nurses, RTs, enviro services staff and many others on the front lines who were not prioritized. #COVID19 #CovidVaccine

Here’s the hot new residency interview question for this years MS4s. “Does your health system prioritize COVID vaccinations for residents working in front line rotations i.e. ED, ICU, COVID wards?” If the rumors I hear are to be believed, applicants may be in for a surprise.

Agreed! Although is Ben Schnapp on faculty should probably be on that check list too.
Strongly endorse this list!
