On this day in 1997, the Chicago Bulls completed The Drive for Five, defeating the Utah Jazz 90-86. Michael Jordan set up Kerr for the go-ahead bucket...and a joke at the championship parade about carrying them all year.

On this day in 2002, Shaquille O'Neal and the Lakers completed a sweep of the Nets, achieving a threepeat. Shaq's 145 points set a new mark for a four-game NBA Finals series, while Phil Jackson tied Red Auerbach with nine championships.

On December 3rd 2000, Jamison scored 51 points in a loss to the Supersonics. In his next game three nights later, he scored 51 again - as did Kobe Bryant - as the Warriors beat the defending champion Lakers in overtime.

On this day in 1991, MJ and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Los Angeles Lakers to capture the first of six championships. The Jordan Challenge tasked us to win the series with MJ averaging 31 ppg and 11 apg, and shooting 55% or better.
