Museum imaging people 👋 Is anyone still successfully using Platypus software (either the standalone or photoshop plugin?) for reducing the visibility of cradles in x-radiographs of paintings?
I used to use a great feature on photoshop a lot, but forgot exactly how it was done. You would hold a key and use a pipette, then click on an image area in the curves adjustment and it would put a point on the curve on the R, G and B channels separately. Anyone?

Are there any commercial services who offer full-spectrum conversions AND bayer CFA removal for silicon sensors? Or is the CFA removal considered too risky to be commercially viable?!
It's all about the money, money, money. Wait until folks hear that there is not one library in the entire world with a complete catalogue of their holdings, because there is not time nor resource to do so. Every institution would love a full catalogue. theguardian.com/commentisfre…
