This was always going to happen. “Optus” is a contraction of “Octopuses do tech support for us”, which they championed as such a shrewd wages saving until they elected a moray eel as CFO who has now devoured 80% of their on-site team. Just like Twitter.
We mourn. We seethe. We cry. We rage. We look after each other.

Occasionally I recall how as a tween I’d cut out reviews of albums (which I largely hadn’t heard) to stick around my bedroom door until there was a weird collage spreading over the wall like a word-cancer.
I see how that foreshadowed my career and wonder why no one intervened.
Seven years ago @Jetstar cancelled our flight at the last minute, completely bollocksing a time-dependent holiday. And I never realised how sentimental they were, since they chose to mark the anniversary by doing it again, even as the cab to the airport pulled into our street.
And then they did it again! Oh @JetstarAirways, you adorable scamps, sending a text at 3am that yeah, nah, the replacement flight is also off and there are no direct flights available. Cool times!
Finally, SOMEONE is getting their just desserts for breaching the APS Code of Conduct.
Breach it at your peril, citizens, for my standards are high, inflexible, and often arbitrary. Especially about what constitutes a fair price for Sparks LPs.
