I got a chance this week to spend time with Ms. Rachel at the Capitol as she advocated for children being caught in the middle of broken and cruel immigration policies. Power doesn’t always come from our title, it can come from the depths of our humanity and dedication to care. Watching Ms Rachel advocate for kids outside Delaney Hall and at other detention facilities, it is so clear how much she cares. She serves as a model for our humanity for millions of children across our country; it’s time the grown ups pay attention too. Thank you, Ms. Rachel. Let’s keep up the work together for the kids — all the kids.

“I love the inflation” - Donald Trump

Inflation is rising and crushing American families at the pump and in the grocery store, all because of Trump's war in Iran that is continuing to spiral out of control. The American people can end this chaos in November and elect Democrats who will stop the war and lower costs.

With all we know about ICE's abuse in places like Delaney Hall and the affordability crisis hurting American families, Trump and Republicans are ramming through billions in new ICE funding. It's either money for you or money for ICE's lawlessness. That's our choice in November.

You will see a lot more of this anti-election rhetoric by Trump and his Republican allies leading up to the midterms. These are attacks on voters and the democratic process. We need to all speak out and defend our votes. Every voter deserves to have their voice heard.

Remember, the constant efforts by Trump to disparage and undermine journalists are not separate from the purposeful dismantling of 60 Minutes and other independent media. This is all connected and coordinated.

Just shameful. This ballroom is one giant grift for Trump to enrich his friends. Meanwhile your gas prices are still over $4 a gallon, inflation is up, and there's no end in sight. This is why we need to take back Congress.
