Martin Lab members at the ##cshlubiq 2023 meeting! Andy gave a great talk and Santi & Erika presented their 26S proteasome research at the poster sessions. Great science talks, time with colleagues, and lobster! #ourproteincaneatyourprotein #ubiquitin #proteasome

We started a fun project to catalog all our plasmids. Usually, this is very laborious because some are huge and in low copy numbers. Pretty cool though, shout out to @plasmidsaurus for helping me accidentally find an insH10 E. coli transposon insertion outside of my plasmid ORFs!

And now it's out 🎉! Big thanks to the reviewers and editors @eLife who helped us improve this story about a long-enigmatic herpesvirus protein required for viral genome packaging. @brittaspen @AndyMartinLab @StephanieNGates @lmstrong7 and Matt Gardner elifesciences.org/articles/6…
Very excited to share some of my work in @brittaspen's lab on an enigmatic protein involved in herpesviral genome packaging, the result of a great collaboration with @AndyMartinLab, @StephanieNGates, @lmstrong7, and the twitterless Matt Gardner. [1/10]
