We had some good finds around Hurl Rocks Park tonight. Not only did we grab a bunch of olives and some conch shells, but we also discovered a very rare sea biscuit and the biggest great white tooth I’ve ever found! 🐚

Leo the Green Anole is hanging out on our front porch today. He was showing the pink dewlap on his throat until he noticed me, but I wasn’t able to get a picture of it today. 🦎

We stopped at a beach shop on the way home and saw this awesome rainbow over the Holden Beach Bridge when we came out - a great way to end a great day. 🌈

It’s always cool to see the pelicans dive down into the ocean to catch fish. They can start out at up to 100 feet in the air and come down at up to 40 miles per hour.

Happy 40th Anniversary “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” For those of us lucky enough to be alive in 1986 - it was a glorious time! Incidentally, “Hoosiers, “Platoon,” “Stand By Me,” “Three Amigos” & Top Gun” were also on the big screen that year. ♥️

Spotted this Eastern Hercules Beetle, also known as a Rhinoceros Beetle, outside my work today. This photo didn’t do him justice, as he was almost 3 inches long - about as big as the palm of my hand! They are one of the largest beetles in South Carolina. Absolutely beautiful. 🪲

Vinny saw his first rabbit in South Carolina today while I was at work. It apparently came right up and looked into our lanai and Vinny wasn’t sure how to feel about that. 🐰 🐈 😆
