When you’re trying to go see @LaughingQuoll’s family in Australia but your flight was delayed for 10 hours and then cancelled yesterday and now it’s been delayed almost 5 hours today already. Chicago Airport and @united are just so much fun

ALT The Chariz team is saddened to learn that Lachlan Abbott, better known as LaughingQuoll, has passed away at 22. His relationship to our team was instrumental to our success. Chariz, as it stands today, would not exist without his encouraging words, and his commitment to help the platform when it was in a difficult position by launching his tweaks Noctis Neo, Siliqua Pro, and Watermelon with us. He was a wonderful, creative member of the jailbreak community, and an incredible friend of ours. He will be sorely missed. He was the type of friend that is rare to find, generous, kind, funny, and always willing to engage in banter. Above all he was thoughtful, the minute he found out my mother passed 3 months ago he flew to America and comforted me for a week and a half.

I have been using his tweaks every day for years now. I only met him in person a few times but I will not forget him. He made many contributions to jailbreaking both on the frontline and behind the scenes. I will miss him very much. Rest In Peace @LaughingQuoll.

It was him that convinced me, after the worst business decision of my life, when I was likely the most down and depressed I’d ever been, that I should relaunch Chariz. He took a chance on me by releasing a few of his tweaks on the newly-relaunched Chariz. It meant so much to me.

I never got to share photos of @LaughingQuoll since we had a strict agreement that doing so would result in a $1,000 fine but I can share them now. He would of wanted you to know he was taller than me I think.
