Ok Men's 5k. So you're telling me that John Gay πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ did a 3k steeple final in the a.m. AND THEN a 5k final in the p.m.??? Respect!!! Another great finish in the final 100m...and the way Siosi from Soloman Islands was cheered on for his final lap...this crowd 😭. @birminghamcg22

Watching CWG replay from today. First...I can't with Camryn Rogers. 2 no marks and then...whoop... a 74.08. 😯 πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ”¨ well represented in the final both on the men's & women's side. And, medals on medals. I ❀ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ throwers.

Ok...I'm sure it's obvious (and I'm echoing others on this). The @birminghamcg22 athletics crowd is πŸ”₯ The crowd at CWG is way better than the crowd at World Championships. That's how it should be.

No disrespect (oh this should be good, eh?) but watching @birminghamcg22 athletics (T&F) on @CBC sports. Could there be more sharing of coverage between the 10k and the field events??? I can see the HJ and SP in the background and hear the crowd. I wanna see too.

Listen, the hurdles were so crazy but let's not forget to boost Michelle Harrison. Big PB. Great season. Her path over the years to reach this point is one to admire. Persistence, perseverance, belief and a supportive group who believe along with you.
