The people are done with forked-tongued politicians who are only in it for themselves. This is clearly the situation with Kenney. Enough of this! It is time to bring the power, the voice, the right to decide back to the people.
The former federal cabinet minister and Alberta premier recognized Quebec's status as a nation within Canada, while internationally he supported the U.K. leaving the EU and independence for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Kosovo, Tibet and Ukraine. Read more: rebelne.ws/49TEbfm

More than two weeks after "Lead Not Leave" launched, Albertans are still waiting for their plan to fix Canada. Respectfully, “lead, not leave” is a slogan—not a mechanism. Alberta has already tried leading Canada for decades. We helped elect Mulroney, built Preston Manning’s Reform movement, sent Stephen Harper and Jason Kenney to Ottawa, and continue to support national conservative leaders. But establishment conservatism has not delivered structural constitutional change for Alberta. The historical record matters. Meech failed. Charlottetown failed. In 2021, over 62% of Albertans voted for equalization reform, only to be ignored by Ottawa and the premiers. If "Lead Not Leave" has a credible path to a fair deal, Albertans deserve to see it. Until then, an independence referendum remains the only practical way to force a real negotiation over Alberta’s future including Alberta's right to become an independent country.
I welcome Lead-Not-Leave to this important debate. Albertans deserve a serious explanation of why our children and grandchildren will be better off under Ottawa’s control than in a free and prosperous independent Alberta. Federalists must now show how Canada can be made fair to Alberta when Mulroney, Harper, Manning and Kenney could not achieve it. And we should be honest: Alberta cannot “lead” a Confederation in which Ottawa holds the power and repeatedly uses it against us. How will Ottawa be made to stop treating Alberta as its colony and ATM? Until there is a credible federalist plan, independence remains a serious and necessary option. Albertans deserve answers.

Sounds like a pretty great way to spend a Friday night in a pretty happening place (apparently). Come join me!
Ok. Just for the record. We were invited to Taber before @CoryBMorgan's broo-ha-ha with the billboard thing. It appears Taber might just be the biggest battleground for Alberta Independence this month 😂Also, the irony that this event is being held in Confederation Park is not lost on us. Everyone is welcome, praying for good weather!

We’re grateful for all the donations that have come in so far. Made our first sign order today. If you want one let us know. We’ve got volunteers popping up around the province willing to help distribute them.
If you are looking for a Third Party Advertiser to support, this is a really good one!! Though I may be biased... 😉 abwomensindependencenetwork.…

Corb Lund's coal petition has gathered enough signatures. Good for him. Democracy is excellent. I'll be voting for modern coal mine development, but I'm glad he's asking the question. The larger question is will the courts allow this to proceed, or do they believe we needed to ask the First Nations before asking this question? They seem to think the chiefs get to decide what is allowed to be discussed. westernstandard.news/news/co…

I am personally so excited about this! For the past year we've been going bare minimalist, not asking for donations, no website, no fancy flyers. Just two Alberta girls making their way around the province spreading the message of Alberta Independence and everything that entails. I guess we're 'official' now.
Super happy great news! We are now officially registered as a Third Party Advertiser under the name Alberta Women for Independence! @kathyflett1 and @AngetheBrave72 did a quick video explaining what a Third Party Advertiser is, what our focus will be and how you can donate to support our work. If you wish to donate you can send an E-transfer to abwomensindependencenetwork@gmail.com Or check out our new website at abwomensindependencenetwork.… and click on the "Donate" button. youtu.be/yEmCpydsWs8

There are some really great points here. Lots to consider. I personally and my group @ABWomensNetwork are not interested in engaging with anything or anyone using divisiveness in the movement. Doesn’t mean we can’t disagree. We need to disagree in order to come to the best solutions. But the over the top emotional responses just impair our ability to see things clearly and make those best next decisions.
With an open mind and keeping emotions in check, everything becomes more clear. I have to say it, this movement has had some very emotional turn of events, and too many involving Danielle. There are some very hyper emotional people within the groups right now that really need to take a time out and focus. With the way everyone is raving to remove her, I actually wonder if many of us are starting to become the “left”. Not seriously. But the left act out of feelings and emotions, and many of us are doing that right now. Let’s think about this for a couple minutes, and keep in mind that ‘actions speak louder than words’: First off; she does NOT owe us a referendum. She chose to give us this referendum in a manner that skirts around the courts ability to block it. Our petition is one of ‘0 verified signatures’. Again, with that in mind, she does not owe us a referendum. But we’re having one. Sure doesn’t sound like an enemy to me. ——————————— Secondly; if we were to have a binding referendum announced, what makes you think they’d “allow” it to happen? Have we all forgotten what’s they did with the Freedom Convoy? Have we forgotten that they locked up the petition in the courts? Do you seriously think that a legally binding referendum wouldn’t be quashed in one way or another? It seems that many of us have this emotional attachment to requiring it to be the question that we petitioned for. We need a serious reality check right now. —————————— Thirdly; this is very very important. We do not have a count, we do not know what our numbers are. This referendum is not legally binding. However, it is socially binding. We need to know what our numbers are in order to gather the strength for the next steps. I stress again, WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT OUR NUMBERS ARE. That is literally the most important part of this whole movement. If we’re a minority, we need to check ourselves and do more ground work. If we’re a majority, then it’s time to really kick things off and get the ball rolling. I believe we’re a majority, but there’s no way to know that until we have this referendum that Danielle set up for us. Again, she is not required to give us this extremely important referendum. Also again, a legally binding referendum would get quashed. They would do something to it, like not allow ballots to be counted, or not allow numbers to be released, or something prior to the referendum to block it. It has to be non binding for us to have it. When we show as a majority, nothing will be able to stop the motion. There is no reason to fear anything beyond the referendum. In fact, there’s no reason to fear anything now either. —————————- Fourth; all of the MOUs signed are non binding. I see them all as opportunities to show Albertans that are on the fence, just who we’re dealing with. We make an agreement, and the Liberals don’t follow through on their promises. It’s that simple. If we’re looking for a Ralph Klein premier to give the Libs the ol’ 🖕, then that would make us look like belligerent radicals to the fence. That would harm the movement. ————————— Again, keep in mind that actions speak louder than words. Fifth; everyone knows that it won’t cost 400 billion dollars to transition Alberta to a country. Why people are getting worked up over Danielle saying this, is actually mind boggling. This statement from Danielle puts the economics into the spotlight. This is where we make some noise with billboards, social media, conversations, or whatever else to show the true estimates of the cost. Everything they throw at us; are opportunities to show the true intent of the movement, what we’re trying to achieve, and the true intent of the Canadian government. Keep emotions in check, and push forward. Do not have any set expectations for outcomes. Trust in the process, God has our backs.

Makes sense to me!
Much of what she says will be start up costs already exists. We will just be taking it over ourselves. But let's just play with the Premier's numbers for a minute. You are 30 years old. Currently you pay on average roughly $5,000/year more for government services than you receive. That adds up to $175,000 in overpayment over your working years. You can also look forward to paying more income tax as you continue to do better for yourself and your family. Someone comes to you and says, "Hey, for a one time investment of $80,000 you'll be a founding member of a new country that will enjoy a much lower tax burden, higher standard of living, and no more being ruled by elites 1,000's of kms away. A realized savings of $95,000 not to mention free from the mess you are forced to support now." Not a bad deal. I would take it🤷‍♀️

So many federalists claiming Canada can be fixed. Problem is all their fixes are reliant on those who think there is nothing wrong with Canada all of a sudden fixing it. Delusional!
Wanting Alberta to separate doesn't necessarily mean a person hates Canada. I love my truck but I would still jump out if it were on fire, or about to fall off a cliff. Albertans don't have the means to save Canada but they CAN save themselves.
