Anybody who supports the death penalty is by definition supporting a system which results in the state killing innocent people.

@IndiaWilloughby is a trans women who is attacked by JKR aswellas JKR fans who belittle & use outright hate speech towards India for simply existing as a trans women.

What I "liked" about this exchange was someone speaking their truth to power. Twitter is, unfortunately, no place for nuance.
It's imperative I make this abundantly clear: I support human rights for EVERYONE, regardless of their gender identity, PERIOD.

These aren’t naughty schoolboys stealing sweets. These are fucking adults arrested for domestic violence & sexual assault. We need to act like adults as well when we discuss them, else a lesson gets passed on that this’ll only get you a slap on the wrist from the scoutmaster.

This is gross. Utterly gross. It’s possible that the full, unedited answer might offer some mitigation but Braverman’s defence of using Nazi vocabulary to talk about refugees, in response to a Holocaust survivor, is just horrific.
