Let it be known that I personally loved the movie—and still do to this day—in spite of the direction it pushed the franchise. I'm glad that the general public opinion toward it has become more favorable in recent years.

It's easy when throwing shit and shade at what AB has become to point feathers at the first movie as the catalyst. But to view it as nothing beyond that is dishonest. As with most animated films it was a labor of love. It deserves its flowers.
