Couple things: 1. If the terms of the Iran deal being floated are accurate, it’s a complete US surrender and a total embarrassment. 2. Trump casually threatening to nuke Iran if the deal doesn’t go through is fucking insane.

Iran is publicly saying the Strait of Hormuz will never be free to transit again. Negotiations going great, I see

I'm sure all the people who spent years attacking Obama for giving "pallets of cash" to Iran will be just as outraged by Trump telling the UAE to give Iran $10 billion, right?
The UAE has agreed to release billions of dollars to Iran as Iran and the US move closer to a deal to end the war. Two regional sources told Reuters the UAE had agreed to release a total of $10 billion, more than $3 billion of which had already been delivered.

So the JCPOA, but dumber. Got it.
Senior U.S. administration official briefs reporters on the emerging Iran deal: • Deal achieves core U.S. objectives • Strait of Hormuz to reopen • U.S. to receive enriched material from Iran under the agreement • Deal includes a nuclear monitoring regime • Official says it ensures long-term peace in the region • Iran will receive economic rewards only if it complies • Significant sanctions relief will be tied to Iranian performance • U.S. expects the deal to be signed in the coming days • Draft agreement would lead to the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program • “We are not quite at the finish line, but very close” • Iran receives nothing upon signing

If these countries honestly think they’re just going to throw plane loads of money at Iran and get them to the negotiating table, they should think again. We keep saying we won the war… why are we bribing them to even talk to us?

Weren’t we 95% there like… 3 weeks ago?
🚨 FROM A SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL ON IRAN: Do we have a deal yet? "No, but we are very close." The official estimates that a deal is 75% there, not 100% yet. "While this is tentative, we feel confident that we will be signing this in the next few days.” We have agreed to the concepts and the details, but the deal is NOT done until we sign it. WHAT IS IN THE DEAL: (1) The highly enriched uranium will be destroyed — “The deal accomplishes that." (2) There is a long-term commitment that Iran cannot procure a nuclear weapon. (3) There is a meaningful inspection process. (4) Iran cannot fund terrorism as we work toward broader peace in the Middle East. (5) The Hormuz Strait will be open. Assets ARE NOT immediately unfrozen. Iran MUST meet its commitments first.

So now we’re offering sanctions relief if they allow oil exports… through the Strait that we claim to control? And they just have to agree to “discuss” the nuclear issue?
Al Arabiya reports the proposed U.S.-Iran (MOU) deal includes: • A 60 day ceasefire • Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days • Phased sanctions relief tied to resumed Iranian oil exports • Continued nuclear negotiations during the ceasefire • A halt to hostilities across all fronts

Translation: a final agreement isn’t happening They might as well have asked for a unicorn.
Israeli PM Netanyahu: Although Israel is not a party to the memorandum, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for President Trump’s commitment to ensuring that any final agreement reached at the conclusion of the negotiations will include the removal of enriched nuclear material, the dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, restrictions on missile production, and an end to Iran’s support for its terrorist proxies throughout the region.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Absolute clown show.
President Trump has called off strikes against Iran “based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved.”

“I don’t know that America has the stomach for it” Most experts agree that taking Kharg island would result in hundreds of US casualties, minimum.
Trump: "My preference has always been to take Kharg Island. I don't know that America has the stomach for it, to be honest with it. You'd make a fortune."

Trump in the last week: - we’re 2-3 days away from a deal - we hit them viciously. If they don’t make a deal, we’ll bomb the shit out of them tomorrow. - we control the Strait - Iran must open the Strait - we’re gonna take over Kharg Island and their oil Embarrassing.

New US strikes on Iran. Reportedly Iran has already started firing back, too. If this turns into all-out war again, I fear that we’re going to find out that Iran is better prepared this time. I hope I’m wrong.

I’ve seen absolutely no evidence this is true. I guess we’ll see how the reporting shakes out.
BREAKING: The U.S. is taking "millions of barrels of oil" out of Iran every night, President Trump announces. "I'm going to tell you because they just figured it out. So now that they figured it out, I can tell you it was very hard for me. I wanted to say it so badly." "When it's over, you will see oil drop to where it was before."
