🚨 FROM A SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL ON IRAN: Do we have a deal yet? "No, but we are very close." The official estimates that a deal is 75% there, not 100% yet. "While this is tentative, we feel confident that we will be signing this in the next few days.” We have agreed to the concepts and the details, but the deal is NOT done until we sign it. WHAT IS IN THE DEAL: (1) The highly enriched uranium will be destroyed — “The deal accomplishes that." (2) There is a long-term commitment that Iran cannot procure a nuclear weapon. (3) There is a meaningful inspection process. (4) Iran cannot fund terrorism as we work toward broader peace in the Middle East. (5) The Hormuz Strait will be open. Assets ARE NOT immediately unfrozen. Iran MUST meet its commitments first.

Al Arabiya reports the proposed U.S.-Iran (MOU) deal includes: • A 60 day ceasefire • Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days • Phased sanctions relief tied to resumed Iranian oil exports • Continued nuclear negotiations during the ceasefire • A halt to hostilities across all fronts

Israeli PM Netanyahu: Although Israel is not a party to the memorandum, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for President Trump’s commitment to ensuring that any final agreement reached at the conclusion of the negotiations will include the removal of enriched nuclear material, the dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, restrictions on missile production, and an end to Iran’s support for its terrorist proxies throughout the region.

President Trump has called off strikes against Iran “based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved.”

Iran’s military command announces that the Strait of Hormuz is now “completely closed” to all shipping. Any ships attempting passage will be attacked.
