Darshan of Shri Arunachaleswar Somavar is very important to worship Shiva. Soma refers to Mahadev, & Somvar ( Monday) meant for day of Mahadev.

A 3-Minute Nap Almost Cost an Honest Man His Dignity 2:13 AM — Silver Oak Residency Security guard Ramkishan sat quietly at the main gate. For the first time in years, he accidentally dozed off. Just for three minutes. At that exact moment, the society chairman's son drove in. He noticed Ramkishan sleeping, smirked, pulled out his phone, and started recording. "Look at this guy," he said. "Getting paid to sleep while we're trusting him with our safety." Within minutes, the video was posted in the society WhatsApp group. By morning, the comments were pouring in: ❌ "Fire him immediately." ❌ "This is pure negligence." ❌ "People like him don't deserve these jobs." More than 150 messages. Not a single person asked why he had fallen asleep. 6:05 AM Ramkishan was summoned to the society office. The chairman slammed his hand on the table. "Do you even want this job?" Ramkishan quietly removed his cap. His eyes were red and swollen with exhaustion. Then he spoke softly. "Sir, I started work yesterday at 2 PM." "The other guard was sick, so the agency asked me to cover his shift too. They offered me an extra ₹300." "At around 1 AM, I chased away three boys trying to climb the back wall." "Then, at 1:45, a resident asked me to warm milk for Bruno, her dog." "At 2:10, I finally sat down for a minute... and my eyes closed." The room fell silent. "My salary is ₹12,000 a month." "₹4,000 goes toward rent." "₹2,000 I send to my parents in the village." "The rest supports my wife and our two children." "My son studies in the 9th grade." "Every day I tell him, 'Study hard, son. Otherwise, life may force you to stand awake at someone else's gate forever.'" He paused. Then he looked up. "You recorded my three minutes of weakness." "But in eight years, nobody recorded the thousands of nights I stayed awake protecting this society." "If human beings were never meant to get tired... God would have made us machines." No one in the room could meet his eyes. That evening, a new notice appeared on the society bulletin board: ✔️ Two guards per shift ✔️ Maximum 8-hour duty ✔️ Salary increased to ₹18,000 ✔️ Overtime paid separately Additional cost per flat: ₹200 per month And at the bottom, one sentence: "We can hire security, but we cannot buy a human being's life." 10:00 PM For the first time in a long while, Ramkishan was heading home early. As he reached the gate, the chairman's son stopped him. He removed his helmet and spoke quietly. "Uncle... I deleted the video." "And from tomorrow, your night tea is on me." Ramkishan smiled. Sometimes people are not careless. Sometimes they are simply exhausted. And sometimes, all it takes is one honest conversation to remind us to be human. ::: Hazra Purnima

Some feminists & leftists have lost their sleep seeing my name in opening credits of movie #Bandar These people have never had any problem when movies have been made on issues impacting few hundreds in the country but they are furious as to how anyone can make a movie about a MAN even if there are thousands like him I am just too strong to be fazed or feel down by the criticism that comes my way but it appalls me & saddens me when people capable of thinking become slaves to narratives & go totally blind to social realities & human suffering For the last 14 years, I have worked non-stop with men & their families who have suffered unimaginable agonies. Many of the people who criticize me today know my name. Very few know the thousands of phone calls, counselling sessions, interventions, court visits, police station visits, rehabilitation attempts, getting jobs for those who no one would hire, raise funds for those who state never compensated, prevention of suicides that happened quietly, away from cameras and social media. I have seen fathers separated from their children, elderly parents dragged through litigation, young men lose careers and families pushed to the edge. One can hate me but how are they so tone deaf to these real life human stories ? They say I do this for money. LOL. We do not charge people for the support we provide. Instead, we have often raised money for men who lost everything — their reputation, livelihood, mental health, families, and sometimes even their will to live. Martyrs of Marriage, my first documentary film was largely self funded. I travelled across India, often alone, meeting families, recording testimonies, documenting stories that few wanted to hear or support. India's Sons happened during Covid. For months I didn't pay myself because completing the film was more important. Eventually the film didn't find a buyer and made no money If this is what privilege looks like, it is a very strange kind of privilege which I am yet to understand 😊 The truth is that the stories we tell are impossible to be told no matter how real & there's zero perk. Men don't want to talk because they know they'll be ridiculed or reduced to stereotypes. Anyone would be a fool to call my work an easy path, profitable path or the popular path. Many of our supporters don't even follow us publicly for fear of being Judged! Instagram handles of feminists get bigger funding than us to post 5 creatives everyday liked by 10 women barely For anyone else than me, walking away would have been easier. The constant abuse, labels, threats, curses, targeting my family, calling my parents names. Yet every time I have thought of even taking a long break, another desperate call has come from someone in a dire situation. These lives remind me why this work matters. And I March on everyday despite everything! People can disagree with my views and debate my stand. Criticism is part of public life. But reducing years of work to labels & caricatures is easier than engaging with the realities faced by the people we help. It just reflects the dishonesty in those for whom gender is more important than Justice or human life I am grateful to the makers of #Bandar for making this film because I know how tough it is. I am thankful they acknowledged my contribution. It hasn't happened in thin air. They saw my film, research, data & more importantly - lived realities behind the numbers. Regardless of the dirt people throw at me, I will stand with those who have no voice, advocate for fairness, due process and continue helping men fight for justice..... Picture abhi poori baaki hai mere haters 🤘🙏🤘
