Many kids, seniors, caregivers, unhoused people and other Arizonans are starting to go hungry and struggling because of harsh work requirements. Taking away food assistance also makes it harder to keep up with rent. A frightening harbinger of what's to come in other states.

Everyone facing #homelessness should have quick access to safe, dignified shelter & permanent housing. But @HUDgov is proposing a rule that would make it harder and less safe for trans & nonbinary people — who already experience higher rates of #homelessness — to access shelter.

Anyone can submit a public comment on HUD’s proposed rule before the June 29th deadline. In the meantime, existing protections remain in place and are still the law of the land. transequality.org/earcomment
