🚨 Couple hid missing 14-year-old girl in a cardboard box in their bedroom after R*PING her.
Andrew Olson and Angeline Olson of Oakdale, Minnesota, are charged after the girl — a friend of one of their children was reported missing from school on May 26. She was R*PED that same afternoon. Police found photos and video on the couple’s devices with metadata confirming the assault happened that day.
A neighbor spotted the girl running out of the house half-naked around 1:30 a.m. the next morning and called police.
Angeline was seen semi-naked in the bushes. When officers arrived, they searched the home and found the girl hiding inside a cardboard box in the couple’s bedroom, covered with a pile of clothes. Angeline had earlier lied to police, claiming the girl wasn’t there.
The couple’s own teenage children had already been removed by Child Protective Services earlier this year. Neighbors had called police on the Olsons at least a dozen times in recent years.
A child who was reported missing ended up hidden in a box inside the home of adults who already had red flags with their own kids.
What accountability should Child Protective Services and law enforcement face when repeated complaints and prior removals fail to protect a child?
