When I started as a career coach, I didn’t have the experience I knew I needed. So I checked out every book about job searching at my local library. Then I blogged about the books. Then I interviewed the authors and shared what I learned on my podcast. Soon, I became the expert.

Nothing happens overnight and the only way I could have made that first step and transitioned into a new career and business I love is by taking action and trying new things. I learned as much as I could and took chances. I constantly was very uncomfortable trying new things.

Starting a business? There are people out there that need you. They have problems that you can solve.
It helps me to take the focus off my challenges and remember that this business is about helping others.
If you focus on helping one person every day, your business will grow.
