And not a phone in sight. Being present and loving the experience.
Paul McCartney surprising fans, 2018. Can you even imagine how amazing it must have been to be there? You’re eating. Someone plays the jukebox and suddenly you hear a guitar chord ring out. Then the curtains open and a Beatle is 5 meters away from you. What a story to tell!

Hello @Officeworks Twice I had trouble with the Divvy car park in OW Glebe. At both times the card that I used to get in would not let me out. This seriously inconvenienced us and the people backing up behind us. We may not return to that store as the parking system is so bad!

First school visit in the UK within 24 hours of landing, the amazing @POWFS with my good friend and Headteacher Gary Spracklen and meeting the wonderful team. It's a great place to learn.
Always great to welcome international visitors to The Prince of Wales School (@POWFS). Here is what Dr @AnneKnock had to say about her visit today. #InspiredToLearn #ChooseKindness

Early this am, quick check of a couple of flights for later in the week, prices ok. Checked again 1 hour later. Now return flight $200 more. Logged onto a different browser 💥 original price back again. I know that @qantas isn't the only airline that does this, but it stinks.

An excellent paper, Tom. "it is impossible for students to develop agency unless teachers themselves are agents, trusted by the school and the wider system to craft and design learning with students. Students only become agents when capable teachers do as well.” @LeadbeaterCh

Thinking about the discussion around innovative learning environments earlier this week. In all the work I've done with schools, this is what I know...the provision of innovative spaces requires a lot of [rewarding] work behind the scenes #notopenplan @loukaparry @LearningFuture

Let's re-wild school through regenerative practices. Rather than maintaining a school's predictable lifecycle, ‘we will just keep doing the same thing we’ve always done’ future-thinking schools can embrace the adaptive fragility of an ecosystem linkedin.com/pulse/re-wildin…

Imagine walking past this edifice every day. The city of Lyon, once known as the sleeping beauty, it became lost in an industrial nightmare. Lyon is is revitalised by an artists collective, with buildings still necessary, it is now a city of murals. atlasobscura.com/articles/ly…

Get a load of this joyful little comedian! Researchers at the University of Bristol (UK) recently created the Early Humor Survey to explore how humor develops in very young children. They found that roughly half of the babies in the tool’s data set showed an appreciation for humor by 2 months of age - and that by 11 months, roughly half of the babies began to experiment with making their own jokes. bristol.ac.uk/news/2021/nove… 🎥 the.present.perspective IG

Draw to remember! Research shows that drawing boosts learning by forcing us to process information in multiple ways: visually, kinesthetically, and linguistically.

Dear @australiapost Express Post (overnight) delivery has taken 8 days to reach its destination. Communication from you (recorded phone & email) spends more wordage on ensuring I'm respectful in m,y communication than it does acknowledging a serious problem that has occurred🧵
