I despaired of ever finishing this jigsaw puzzle, but I stuck with it, & after almost 3 months, I put in the last piece this morning. Don't work on a puzzle for much time each day. Too many other projects, so hard ones take a LONG time! Definitely the hardest one I've ever done!

Update on Willie's frame conservation! After extensive research and consultation with experts, the conservator has discovered what the missing elements of the frame looked like! The photos show clay, plaster, and epoxy replacing missing decorative elements.
