I was pleased to have the chance to address the Seanad Public Consultation on Local Democracy. I hope the TDs & Senators take note of the arguments I and other councillors made for stronger local democracy and citizens’ rights.

Taney Playschool is due to close in June. At my request, Independent Senator Victor Boyhan has pressed Minster O’ Gorman to engage with the school to find a way to prevent what will be a huge loss to the community.
