9 years on from terrible fire at Grenfell, we remember the 72 people who died and the trauma for those still injured and suffering.💚 More still needs to be done to ensure that justice is truly delivered for Grenfell, and that a fire like this can never happen again in any home.

We launched our ambitious new housing strategy in July 2022, and are on track to deliver on that following another record year of social and affordable housing delivery in 2025/26. Loads still to do, but we will keep up the fight for a social housing revolution in Manchester.🏡
We are on track to deliver our ambitious housing strategy to help build 36,000 new homes up to 2032 - with at least 10,000 Council, social and genuinely affordable homes. In fact we're building more homes now than at any point in a generation. orlo.uk/Kwa2B

Improving living standards, good jobs and good homes are a political imperative. This week it was announced that Manchester had seen the biggest drop in inner city deprivation nationally. Much much more to do but shows that change can happen 👇🏼 manchestereveningnews.co.uk/…
