Luckily, PCs have been "good enough" for normal use for quite a while now. If you don't need 4K games or local AI, just don't upgrade. If the tech market wants to kill itself, I guess that's a choice they can make.

I always used to think "net promoter" surveys were silly, but @Butlins have definitely managed to make a Rockaway recommender into "don't go near there" in one phone call. Total inflexibility in the face of a booking issue means I just lost ยฃ500. So, don't go near there!

Confusing cost with quality or performance... The 2TB storage upgrade for the Mac mini costs more than the fastest enterprise SSD, for very average performance.

Somewhat depressed that my big devops dreams are a supported Microsoft Graph API that can tell you AD group membership accurately, and a version the ResourceManagementClient that can tell you if a Storage Account exists in under 3 minutes ๐ซค
