There were clearly a lot of cut scenes this season too, which made the viewing experience feel quite disrupted. From push the button, the the planned cold open of TLoRS... I feel like a lot of important parts were introduced across the season, then chopped apart.

But overall, I did enjoy the Season 1 vibe. even if it's tacky in places, even if the Who magic is a little off, and even if the series-wide plot arc lets everything down? I'd solidly rate the season a 7/10 at most.
