Also when I was nabbing chicken shawarma (pictured) A bunch of South Africans were having fun juggling a futbol by where I was waiting. They have so many chants.
Ball was gonna hit a stroller so one of them grabbed it - for a moment a "you can't use your hands" chant started but they pivoted to "we saved the baby! Thank goodness you used your hands! We saved the baby!"

40 minute round trip walk to get some shredded pork poutine at 2am because Canada!
Also there's so much energy in the streets around the World Cup. Its cool to be around!

AMTRAK canceled my evening train reservation at the last second, but I was able to reschedule to the morning train and got a discount on business class (small worth it upcharge IMHO) -- still though I did not need that heart attack!
